Addicted to Scraps - Berry BushelBlock
Berry Bushel

This design is from the Addicted to Scraps series by Bonnie Hunter.

Instructions to make the Berry Bushel block can be found in Bonnie Hunter’s Addicted to Scraps column in the July/Aug ’13 issue of Quiltmaker.

For a 40″ x 40″ crib quilt (as shown), you will need 16 Berry Bushel blocks. For the border, cut 2 2-1/2” x 39” strips for the side strips and 2 2-1/2” x 43” strips for the top and bottom strips.

Sew 4 blocks together to make a row. Make 4 rows. Sew the rows together. Sew the border side strips to the quilt and trim any extra length. Add the border top and bottom strips in the same way.
