Simple Treats
There’s no trick to making this fun quilt! Simply begin with a whimsical collection of 2½” strips, like Broomhilda’s Bakery from Maywood Studios. Using our tips to sew the blocks from strip sets will magically speed up the piecing process. Your finished quilt will be a treat for all to enjoy.
Designer Abigail Dolinger learned machine sewing and garment construction from her mother and various 4-H club leaders. Her grandmothers taught her scrap patchwork and other needlework skills. Aby purposefully incorporates modern and contemporary quiltmaking ideas/techniques in the quilts she designs. She especially enjoys teaching her children and grandchildren the technical as well as artistic aspects of quiltmaking, the hobby she is so passionate about.
