Featured Quilt:From Sea to Shining Sea

From Sea to Shining Sea QuiltInspired by an antique red and white quilt, Marianne Fons created this blue and cream version using blocks that form a wave pattern. Two-color quilts make such a statement! The wave effect of this quilt design is the result of some clever patchwork piecing. By adding sashing to a rectangular pieced block, Marianne was able to reproduce the antique quilt design she found so inspiring. This would be perfect for a Quilt of Valor for a sailor, says Marianne.
