About this Quilt
Against the Grain: Quick One-Block Quilt Pattern
Being a little different makes a big difference. Jen’s dynamic design uses just one block and three fabrics, but it has style to spare. The small patches of gold shine against the darker blue and gray, and the specific block layout creates a lot of interest and movement without much effort. For faster sewing, part of the blue blocks are strip pieced. Since there are only two gold blocks, they are not made with strip piecing, just patches.
