About this Quilt
Finished Size : 50" x 62"
Finished Blocks : 12" Flower blocks
Rating : Intermediate
Designed By : Sandy Maxfield
We love how the simple Drunkard’s path quilt block can morph and change, depending on how it is set, the value changes in fabric, and – let’s face it – the creativity of the quilt designer. This deceptively simple block can be used to make circles, Christmas tree ornament shapes, snakes, and now, dogwood blossoms.
Celebrate spring with fresh dogwood blooms using curved piecing and an asymmetrical layout. To ensure accuracy, these gently curved pieces are slightly oversized so the blocks can be trimmed to just the right size.
Make your blocks larger so they can be cut to the perfect size? Now that’s a creative solution!
