A towering wedding cake? A tiered tea tray of Petit Fours?  This quilt has all of the style and none of the calories.

Designer Stacey Day conceived and executed “The Dessert Quilt” at an all-day sewing marathon while attending QuiltCon. She was halfway through her original project when her pile of fabric toppled over and these three colors magically grouped together. Stacey was immediately drawn to the combination and had a flash of inspiration. Determined to finish her original project first, she began work on this quilt after her dinner break. It was the best kind of dessert a quilter could have!
