About this Quilt
You’ve got some owl mail, and your feathered friend is carrying this fast and fun pattern, just for you! One easy block soars to dazzling heights in Pam Boswell’s quick diagonal composition. The interplay of blocks disguises where one block ends and another begins.
Just 5 fabrics—3 for the blocks and 2 for the borders and binding—are needed to make this super stylish throw quilt. It’s an ideal pattern for featuring some favorite prints, and not much work needs to happen to make it a reality! Just make some half-square triangles and a few stitch and flip corners and you’re halfway there.
The strong diagonal lines of this quilt are graphic, cool and would appeal to just about anyone, especially discerning teenagers or very masculine types as there are no frills, just geometry and style. The owl and feather fabrics that Pam chose are perfect for this design, but it would work in just about any print and color combination.
