About this Quilt

Designed By : Jen Sorenson
Strap on your hiking boots and grab a backpack. Just like trekking over rugged mountains at sunrise to capture a beautiful view, this quilt provides an adventure you’ll enjoy for years to come.
Playing with geometric shapes and varying their scale inspires designer Jen Sorenson. We love how she created this quilt by designing one parallelogram Log Cabin, then reducing its size to add interest and depth. Paper piecing keeps all of the blocks precise, and the diagonal row construction adds even more sophistication.
The end result is reminiscent of a summer sunset on the jagged granite mountaintops of Jen’s home state of New Hampshire.
This quilt design captured our imaginations from the moment we laid eyes on it!
