By using a collection of 5″ precuts to make Half-Square Triangles—and paying attention to the orientation—an interesting design emerges. As a bonus, this quilt can be finished quickly. If you end up with a few extra blocks, sew them into the backing for a touch of playfulness.

- One pack of precut 5″ squares in coordinating fabrics (36 squares needed for quilt)
- 7/8 yard olive cotton/linen blend
- 2¾ yards tan cotton/linen blend
- 3-5/8 yards for backing
- ½ yard for binding
- Twin-size batting
