When life gives you lemons, make a quilt!
With spring just around the corner and summer not far away, it is never too early to start thinking of picnics and lemonade. “Lemon Drops” was inspired by a fresh color palette and the organic feel of linen fabrics.
With so many repeating blocks, this is the perfect pattern to use to practice your curved piecing technique. The beauty of each curve is enhanced by its mirror-image mate, creating the illusion of half circles that match perfectly.
Heather Black’s modern design captures the tangy sweetness of bright lemon wedges and a relaxing summer day.
