Step 1. Referring to Diagram I, make one red/cream sub units and four blue/cream sub units.
Step 2. Referring to Diagram II, make four pieced-square sub units.
Step 3. Turning sub units to form design, layout block. Sew sub units together to make rows. Sew rows together to make block.
