About this Quilt
Scott put a twist on his log cabin blocks by introducing completely random color placement in half of every block. Dig through your scrap pile to recreate the fun, free look of this easy-to-sew quilt. Or if you prefer, use a favorite bundle of precut 2½˝ strips to make a coordinated version of this pretty design.
The mint batik used for the border and binding is also used in some of the blocks. You will have sufficient yardage to do the same if you like; cut all border and binding strips as directed, then add the remainder of the mint batik to your assorted batiks stash and use it to cut block patches as desired. Use an accurate ¼˝ seam allowance throughout to ensure all elements of the quilt fit together well.
