About this Quilt

quilt-seven-shades-of-gray-flatCombine 7 vibrant solids with 7 values of gray for a quilt with graphic punch. Using pre-cut 2½”strips makes cutting quick and easy, and a design wall will come in handy to keep everything in order. The only difficult part might be deciding which layout you like best for your blocks. We offer a few ideas to inspire you.

Designer Nancy Allen of Bountiful, Utah, grew up surrounded by quilts made by both of her grandmothers. She started her first quilt at age 12 using scraps from her mother and grandmother. While living near Amish country in Pennsylvania, she rediscovered quiltmaking. She has now finished more than 100 quilts, has dozens of tops waiting to be quilted, plenty of UFOs to complete, and a big enough stash to easily make 50 more! Now that Nancy has retired from a career in software and high technology marketing, she finally has time to catch up on her quilting. Follow Nancy’s adventures on BountifulHeirlooms.blogspot.com.
