In Baltimore, there is a summer delicacy called a snowball. It’s basically a snow cone or shaved ice with marshmallow cream in the center. The snowballs in this quilt are bright batik ‘flavors’ with low-volume ‘cream’ centers. Partial seam piecing makes this a project suited to a more experienced quilter.
