Step Aside

About this Quilt

This simple log cabin version is quick and easy to assemble. Plus, it’s ideal for efficiently using up 80 colorful 2½” strips. When your blocks are complete, rotate them to create an amazing chevron design.

Designer Terri Vanden Bosch claims she’s not much of a fan of pre-cuts. But as a longarm quilter, she sees many quilts come through her studio made from them. So she decided to step outside her comfort zone and design and make one for herself. Terri says she definitely saved time in the cutting part, and she really liked how this design worked out. Not only is it an excellent stash-buster, but it would make a great charity/comfort quilt. She admits that she will definitely be making this one again—the next time using fabric from her stash.
