About this Quilt
This design is from the Addicted to Scraps series by Bonnie Hunter.
Two blocks from one set of patches.
Finished blocks: 5 1/4″
Instructions to make the Twin Sisters blocks can be found in Bonnie Hunter’s Addicted to Scraps column in the July/August ’10 issue of Quiltmaker.
To make a crib quilt (about 30″ x 38″) as shown in the layout diagram below, you’ll need 39 blocks.
For the setting triangles, cut 8 squares, 8 3/4″ x 8 3/4″, and cut each one in half diagonally twice.
For the corner triangles, cut 2 squares, 4 5/8″ x 4 5/8″, and cut each one in half diagonally.
Sew the blocks and setting triangles together in diagonal rows. Sew the rows together and add a corner triangle to each corner.
