A Passion for Purple Pre-cuts
Are you plum crazy for the color purple? We know that many quilters can’t get enough of this regal, vibrant hue. In its lighter shades of lavender and lilac, it represents the freshness of spring, and the darker it gets, the deeper and more mysterious the stories it tells. The bluish-purple Ultra Violet was chosen by Pantone as the 2018 Color of the Year for its ability to “take our awareness and potential to a higher level” as it points us toward what is to come.
In the September/October 2018 issue of Quilting Quickly, we present a panoply of purple patchwork. Pre-cut fabrics for seven patterns in the issue were chosen to quench your thirst for purple—with a selection like this, there’s a purple quilt here for every personality.
