The first step to assemble the Aviary quilt after each of the eight blocks is completed is to add the sashing. Next, the borders are added, and then the border appliques. Nancy demonstrates how to pre-fuse the corner sections of the border appliques. She then shows exactly where to place the border appliques on the border’s background fabric.
