7 of 8 | Bias Binding for Scalloped Edges

Ruby’s Garden Block of the Month | Jenny Kae Parks | Runtime (18 min)

First, Jenny shows how to measure a quilt top to make sure the borders are cut to the correct length. Then she demonstrates all the steps necessary to make continuous bias binding. The Ruby’s Garden Block of the Month quilt especially needs bias binding, because it has scalloped edges, and those scallops are much easier to bind with the extra stretchiness of the bias-cut fabric.
