Fluttering By Reader Challenge Finalists Announcement

Our best-selling online course is back and better than ever! APQS Longarm Certification Sponsored by Quilting Daily has been revised and updated. Not only will you learn how to make beautiful quilts, you’ll also gain skills to turn your passion into a paycheck with tips on how to run your own quilting business.

Perhaps one of the most romanticized insects is the butterfly. Luscious and colorful, their transformation from egg to winged creature is astounding. But all insects undergo similar transformation. We invited our readers to create a 10″ x 10″ quilt that celebrated the metamorphosis that insects experience in their short lives and their effect on our wider world.

We were positively buggy about the fabulous response we had to this challenge! We were happy to see different species of insects represented and appreciated by you. Thank you for your continued submissions to our Reader Challenges—your work brightens our inbox and expands our artistic minds. It was difficult to choose from the flutter of entries we received—but, with that, we are pleased and proud to announce the finalists for this challenge!
