My First Quilt | Sara Gallegos | Runtime (11 min)
Half square triangles and quarter square triangles are segments or units that find their way into a lot of quilt blocks. They can also make up entire quilts without any other units in them! Sara shows how to make both half square and quarter square triangles precisely and easily. She starts with 5″ squares from a charm pack, but you can start with any size squares to get different finished sizes of your units. Sara also gives you the quilt math you’ll need to figure out what size to start with if you want a particular finished size.
