117 | How to Foundation Paper Piece
My First Quilt | Sara Gallegos | Runtime (15 min)
Foundation paper piecing, sometimes referred to simply as paper piecing, may seem difficult before you get the hang of it, but with the tips and tricks Sara shares in this episode, you’ll be achieving beautiful blocks in no time. Paper piecing is an easy way to sew perfect points, small pieces, and bias edges without stretch or distortion. The block Sara demonstrates is called ‘Panneants’ by Kaffe Fassett and Liza Prior Lucy and can be found in Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Vol. 4.
