118 | How to String Piece

My First Quilt | Sara Gallegos | Runtime (10 min)

String piecing is a fast way to use up your scraps of all shapes and sizes. You can make the strings all the same width or include a variety in each block. Sara demonstrates how to make a string pieced quilt block using a foundation with the Panneants block pattern by Kaffe Fassett and Liz Prior Lucy from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 4. Plus, see the large four-patch style quilt Sara made with the blocks.
