Irish Quilt Patterns – FREE! | McCall’s Quilting Blog

Every quilt has a story, and the Tales of Ireland free Irish quilt pattern has a saga that’s very special to us here at McCall’s Quilting. When Laura Stone Roberts, one of our editors, discovered she would be going along on a McCall’s Quilting trip to Ireland, she decided to start an Ireland-themed quilt in anticipation. Laura’s popular block-of-the-month blog posts kept quilters on the edge of their seats waiting to see what she’d come up with in each new Irish-themed block. Once all the block patterns had been shared, quilters clamored for a quilt pattern in which to set them, and Laura delivered with her Tales of Ireland quilt design. However, all these patterns were posted to our website as individual documents, making creating the quilt a little daunting.

Well, great news! All 12 of Laura’s sampler block patterns plus the instructions for making the Tales of Ireland quilt have now been gathered together into one complete FREE ebook! Make a quilt like Laura’s, or use the individual block patterns to make a completely different project – it’s up to you! Let’s take a look:
