A Rose is a Rose: Lerlene Nevaril rotated her Windy block (#1389) from 100 Blocks Vol. 14 to create this lovely quilted flower garden. Lerlenes choice of pretty pink and green fabrics gives the simple pieced design a springtime feel. The throw finishes at 56″ x 56″.
Spin Cycle: High contract black, gray and white fabrics work so well together on this intriguing throw quilt design from Nancy Mahoney. Nancy combined the section from her Tilted Tile block (#1326) featured in 100 Blocks Vol. 14 with its mirror image to create the dynamic block. The design is foundation pieced and the finished size is 64″ x 64″.
Filtered Light: Isn’t this a neat design? QM associate editor Gigi Khalsa created this throw quilt used her Layered Lanterns block (#1382) from 100 Blocks Vol. 14. The colors in the quilt look transparent, thanks to the specific color placement in each of the blocks.
