I was looking for a pattern I could adapt to a small quilt using rainbow fabrics from my stash when I received the September/October 2017 issue. When I saw the Painted Canyon quilt, I knew I had what I was looking for. I was able to use leftover pieces to make half-square triangles for the outer border, and cut the rest of the leftovers into strips for the binding.

When I saw A Formal Affair in the January/February 2017 issue of Love of Quilting, I knew this was the quilt to make for my step-daughter. I found a similar fabric, and enlarged the quilt to fit a king-sized bed. I look forward each month to the new issue of Love of Quilting to inspire the next quilt.

I made this Twisted Triangle quilt this year, from Love of Quilting January/February 2015. I used batik fabric and it turned out beautiful!

My eyes just about popped out of my head when I saw the cover of the July/August 2017 issue of Love of Quilting, because I had the perfect material in my stash. It was a fun project! Thanks!
