This quick-cutting method makes easy work of same-sized segments from bands—with no wobble to your ruler! Step-by-Step Sew Easy Instructions

  1. To cut same-sized segments from strip-pieced bands, create bands as instructed. Stack bands so seams are offset, in as many layers as desired.
  2. To clean up edge, align horizontal lines on ruler along seam within top band. Uneven edge should extend beyond ruler.
  3. Cut through all layers. A larger rotary cutter is helpful for cutting many layers.
  4. Rotate bands to cut comfortably, and cut indicated number of segments at desired width.
