The sailboat quilt block is an easy block to personalize in a number of ways. The first thing to piece together when making the block involves sewing the bottom of the boat to the water triangles, which are made using a stitch-and-flip method. Then you add the ocean piece to the bottom of the boat. From there, you can play with how you’d like the sails arranged, and Sara shares several different ideas for that arrangement.
