Star quilt blocks are widely popular in numerous quilt layouts. In this episode, Sara shows how to create a version of the Ohio Star quilt block which is also called a Sawtooth Star quilt block. She talks about using contrasting fabrics and shows another way to make flying geese units. Then she demonstrates how to join each of the units and center patch into rows, which way to press seam allowances for nesting seams, and how to join the rows for the finished quilt block.
