208 | Simple Quilt Patterns: Sea Glass

My First Quilt | Sara Gallegos | Runtime (9 min)

The Sea Glass quilt block is a simple block, but it has a lot of pieces. Sara shows a good way to keep them all organized while making the needed blocks for the full quilt. She then demonstrates how to chain piece the first section together to save time and thread. Once the block is pieced, in segments, it’s time to add the sashing and cornerstones. After those have been sewn on and the blocks all pieced together, there are three borders which can be attached as a strip set.
