210 | Small Quilting Projects: Quilted Tablet Cover

My First Quilt | Sara Gallegos | Runtime (23 min)

Crazy patch quilting, foundation piecing, and a computer tablet are all brought together in this project. Sara discusses how to print and assemble the foundation piecing pattern, then demonstrates foundation piecing in a crazy-patch quilting pattern to create the outside of the tablet cover or iPad clutch. She then shows how to layer the lining, the batting, and the completed “top,” and demonstrates stitching them together and finishing the clutch. She also shows how to do the quilting with decorative stitches in s traditional crazy patch quilting manner.

      Ginette,
Thanks for pointing this out. I was able to find out that it was a pattern Sara (the host) and her step-Mom came up with and was going to be put on Sara’s site, but it looks like she never got it added. We’ve emailed her about it and she’s looking into it for us today. I’ll be in touch with another update as soon as I hear more.

      Best,
      Tiffany
