Welcome everyone! I am so excited to share my Wanderlust Quilt Course, Scrap Quilting Basics from Beginning to Binding with you.

Through this course I will share with you all the hints, helps, tips and tricks I use in my own quilt making for quick stitching of basic units such as the ever-beloved half-square triangle and flying geese which join together in a beautiful quilt guaranteed to bring ooh’s and ahh’s.

This course is also the debut of my new Essential Triangle Tool, enabling you to work with easy strip widths to successfully cut and sew half square triangles, quarter square triangles and flying geese units with no muss-no fuss stitching them easily into the blocks showcased in our quilt.

A free Wanderlust Table Runner pattern is included in your course materials just in case a big quilt is not what you need. You can learn all the skills with just this small project, should you desire.

From how to properly cut fabric to get the full cut you need, to measuring your units to ensure that your seam allowance is correct, from cutting units from scrap strips, to easy assembly and on to border units and binding, this course covers it all.

It’s my goal not to just “give you a fish, but to teach you to fish” and I hope that what we have presented in Wanderlust Quilt and scrap tips will give you the skills you need for many more quilts down the road.
