If you want to organize the making of a memory quilt, this episode will guide you through the process. Two quilts are featured– one for an anniversary and one for the memories of a child's kindergarten year. Marianne Fons and Mary Fons share how to collect photos, signatures, and artwork and have them printed on fabric. They also show how to assemble the quilt and float blocks for a unique pieced border.

Quilters all over the country are making Quilts of Valor. Love of Quilting is dedicated to providing great patterns that meet the Quilts of Valor guidelines for quilts made for combat veterans. Marianne Fons and Tony Jacobson demonstrate using a special wedge template to make two sizes of blocks. They will also show how to prepare a Quilt of Valor for presentation.
