Learn six different techniques to print fabric at your kitchen table using everyday household objects and a few basic printing supplies. In this workshop you will learn how to create a print using a lint roller, turn an embroidery hoop into a screen for silk screen printing, carve your own lino stamps, print with fallen leaves, combine corks and foam to make quick but effective stamps, and create a negative space print with washi tape. For each print effect, Zeena suggests a fun sewing project to show off your unique fabric, with full instructions for the sewing project available in her book How to Print Fabric (sold separately) along with 14 more easy fabric printing techniques. About the Expert:

Zeena Shah is a London-based printed textile designer. She designs and crafts a collection of hand-screen printed goods for the home inspired by the everyday things she sees, as well as her love for Scandinavian and Japanese textiles. These handcrafted goods can be found in stockists both in the UK and internationally, and Zeena also creates print and pattern designs for individual clients and bespoke projects. Zeena teaches silk screen printing workshops from her studio in East London, inspiring people to fall in love with printing and create something handmade. She also hosts pop-up workshops around London, spreading the printing bug as far as she can!
