Presenter Bio
Debra Finan is Managing Editor at Fons & Porter. She’s been writing patterns for almost twenty years, and still enjoys it every day. Debra started loving quilts as a very small child and has always been a “geometry nerd.” The two things seemed to go together naturally when she made her first quilt at the age of thirteen—a pineapple quilt with fifty-seven pieces in each block. She says, “I didn’t know I shouldn’t start there!”
