Description
Can a quilt design encompass movement, a singularly focused design, an intention to using most to all of the fabric call for, and be crafted from pre-cut bundles? The answer is yes and the proof is in this quilt! Created from two fat quarter bundles and limited to simple, large-scale shapes, this decidedly modern quilt simultaneously nods to the traditional Log Cabin block and updates it.
Designed by Malka Dubrawsky for Modern Patchwork September / October 2017.
Materials used:
- 2 fat quarter bundles, 12 pieces each, in a gradation of single color for blocks and binding
- 4 ¼ yards for backing
- Full-size batting
