Fabric Requirements: All fabrics are 45" (114.5 cm) wide cotton. . 2 1/2 yd (2.3 m) of solid cotton fabric for block backgrounds (Main; shown: orange) . About 3 yd (2.7 m) total scraps of assorted print fabrics for strips and block backgrounds (Contrast group; shown: black, white, and cream typography prints; refer to Steps 1 and 2 for necessary sizes) . 3 yd (2.7 m) of backing fabric (shown: black and gray stripe) . The sample quilt has an envelope-finished edge. If you prefer a bias-binding finish on the outer edge of your quilt, refer to the notes for yardage requirements.See project for complete supply list and notions.
